If you like a dynamic ride, Sport Chassis Control is made for you. This lowers the Kamiq’s chassis by 10 mm and adds adjustable shock absorbers with two modes – Normal and Sport. The dynamic Sport mode delivers firmer features for a sportier experience and more intense connection to the road. The system always comes with Driving Mode Select.

Driving Mode Select allows you to set the car’s parameters and behaviour to your needs or mood. The main principle is that there are four driving modes to choose from: Normal, Sport, Eco and Individual. These modes adjust the settings of the engine, the DSG gearbox, the Sport Chassis Control, power steering, air-conditioning, etc.

The Škoda Kamiq comes with a choice of petrol and CNG engines. They all feature direct injection as well as a turbocharger and, of course, meet the latest emission standards. The top-of-the-range 1.5 TSI engine enables the Škoda Kamiq to deliver 110 kW and achieve maximum torque of 250 Nm.

Most of the Kamiq’s engine set-ups feature an automatic transmission – the DSG. The DSG is an automatic gearbox equipped with two independent gearboxes and clutches. Its main advantages include the ability to change gears smoothly at lightning speeds, while keeping to low fuel consumption.

The Kamiq is built on a state-of-the-art MQB platform, featuring advanced design, the latest powertrains and a panoply of the advanced driver-assistance systems commonplace in larger models. Modern designs and the use of high-strength steels also significantly reduce the weight.
