For a number of years, the company Takata has been supplying the automotive industry with airbags containing defective gas generators, which may alter as a result of aging caused by certain climate-related influences (heat and moisture), and could therefore present a danger to you and your passengers in the event of an accident.
In addition to a number of other manufacturers, Škoda models are also affected by the global recall campaigns for Takata airbags.

Is your vehicle affected?
If TAKATA airbags are considered defective, it is because they contain gas generators that can be modified over time and thus become dangerous for you and your passengers. At Škoda, these airbags were installed on vehicles built between 2005 and 2018. The vehicles affected by the recall of the Takata NADI airbags.

If your vehicle is affected, please contact your Škoda Authorised Repairer without delay so that the components in question can be replaced without delay. It will take about one or two hours and it will be free for you.
